Isle of Lewis Photography
There is this particular outstanding photo in the photography of the Isle of Lewis gallery that seems to echo some soft goodbye; that seems to tell its viewer ‘so long, till we meet again’. I am talking about the Callanish Standing Stones Silhouette. The stones are a testament to what we should strive to live for; standing upright when the winds of life come blowing in. This is an epic photo that stands to gain a lot of popularity, not just to the people of Scotland but also to the souls spread far and wide between all over the world. The Callanish Standing Stones Silhouette depicts the timeworn gigantic Lewisian Gneiss rocks as pieces of art worth photographing. And indeed David Fleet did just that, he photographed the rocks and gave them an appealing look that will forever dwell in the Isle of Lewis gallery till the end of time.
